Sometimes I am so sad. Perhaps I let other people's ideas of the world go to my head. What do I know from my own experience?

Why so much trusting of others experiences? And the story of others? In your experience, what is reality? I am always writing to my self.

The Pair Principle. - The more one learns about a craft the more one understands and knows the different aspects of it. As a novice, you may be good at one aspect, not realizing there are more. As an expert, you recognize the vast aspects which you could improve. Our daughter, Elly, was walking on a curb, and said “im good at this,” immediately falling face forward flat.

It is only 8 years

I just watched inception. At the very end of the movie, an idea entered into my mind, an ideaI embraced as truth. I miss when my children were younger. I guess I will just encourage them to have babies ASAP.

M School

M has said that it hurts her feelings when I bring up the idea of her possibly going back to school to study something interesting.

She is reminded that she had her goals and she knew what she wanted to do, but she failed.

Her GPA is below 2.5.

Whenever I went to school everything was provided for me so that I was able to succeed, however nobody provided for her.  She had to deal with a huge problem that she has to still deal with for the next 6 years.  Now everybody is throwing money at me to keep me in school, but no one would want her in her department.

I think those thoughts above are hers.

I tried to say that I was worried I would forget... and hurt her feelings later.  Hopefully by writing this blog entry that won't happen... But I don't like fatalism.

what your classmate felt?  how they were doing in the class? if they understood the material?

empathy. emotional acts. what do young children feel about the success of their classmates?

How do teachers ensure every student has an opportunity to learn (Hiebert, 2002)?
